Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer ERJ-190AR 4K-AZ65 crashed near Aktau Airport,Kazakhstan, after having declared an emergency. 38 people are reported to have died.
Flightradar24 ADS-B data reappeared at 06:07 UTC when the flight showed up over the Caspian Sea, squawking 7700 (emergency). Altitude and speed data are available from 05:14 UTC, showing fluctuating altitude and speed as the aircraft heads to Aktau Airport.
According to local media, Kazaeronavigatsiya stated that the flight crew had reported problems controlling the aircraft.
There are unconfirmed reports that the aircraft was fired on from the ground.
The holes could also be a result of some sort of engine failure and shrapnel being ejected through the engine into the body of the aircraft,we don't see that in the videos.
As far as I can tell,it doesn't look as if the aircraft is under control - possibly hypoxia and the aircraft just fell out of the sky.??
The CVR should clear it up.
