First off, this thread was partly inspired by the news of Jeff's new job (congrats btw). I know it's not a photography job per se but nonetheless it got me thinking. Anyway do any of you know any good resources that list photography jobs? I'd like to get more experience in photography and would be willing to do a non paid position, but I'm having trouble finding anything. Just wondered if any of you knew something like that where artistic jobs were posted.

Why sell yourself short?

I'm not sure about postings but its pretty easy to start yourself. Just buy a website template from a number of places that offer them and start advertising for whatever you want to do on websites, trade shows, and such.

I have recently been talking to some real estate agents who are friends of mine and they are all interested in paying me to photograph their houses for sale. I am waiting for an appeal on a denied work visa from Singapore and if I am denied again I will start doing that during the days and try to expand my business. I currently work 1830-0730 3x a week so it would be ideal.

Its by no means professional but I believe there is potential. There is a lot of photography work out there, I think you just have to start from the bottom, be willing to work for cheap at first, and expand once you have proven yourself.
