It's all very men in sheds but so was the telescope at Jodrell Bank and that thing is still going strong decades after it was supposed to retire. It should be very popular if successful given the (relatively) low price.

A premature shutdown in the rocket was behind the failure of the first ever satellite mission launched from the UK, Virgin Orbit has said.

It seems very strange to me that folk paid for tickets to see a Boeing 747 take off in the dark, in the freezing cold.

You're right, I sat on a pier in the soupy warmth of an east coast Florida night to watch a moon launch not long ago! LOL If I'd had to wear a jacket, might not have happened! LOL

Failure of the second stage led to the loss of all the satellites onboard. Well, it's not like NASA, SpaceX, and just about any other government that has tried to launch a space vehicle hasn't had the same problem.
