German Triathlete Julia Viellehner aged 31 died in the same hospital after she was hit by a truck while cycling in Italy last week.

On a side note her father and her brother are (after two years by now) still officially considered missing on Mount Cook, New Zealand.

Moore was the Bond I grew up with. Iconic and, by all reports, a genuinely nice guy. RIP, 007.

Flounder of Animal House.

Stephen Furst, the actor who played the hapless, beanie-wearing frat boy Flounder in the 1978 movie "Animal House," has died at age 63, his son, Nathan Furst, told CNN on Saturday.
"It was from complications from diabetes," Nathan Furst said. "Over the last several years it was getting worse a little bit. Sort of the typical things that tend to happen when you have diabetes a long time."

July 20, 2017 - Chester Bennington, Linkin Park

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has committed suicide ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us the singer hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County. His body was discovered Thursday just before 9 AM.

Chester was married with 6 children from 2 wives.

The singer struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. He had said in the past he had considered committing suicide because he had been abused as a child by an older male.

Not that it matters but...I'm surprised he lived Palos Verdes. Fairly posh area up on the hill there...just never knew celebs of any sort hid up there.

For the ones who do....that's probably the way they like it.

Much more under-the-radar than Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, etc., but just as nice (and much better location, in my opinion).

Yeah...living up on that hill on the point would be pretty nice. :))
