A French registered Fouga CM170R Magister aircraft F-AZPZ,has been involved in a fatal crash at an airshow over the sea,near Le Lavandou in southern France.

Although the aircraft was an ex military trainer,the type was not fitted with ejection seats.

Grim, but at least they didn't take anyone else out. It's hard enough to have an airshow in Europe as it is, these days.
